Visiting Lautoka-the market, the mosque, the temple

Posted 1 year ago by avatar dulio in response to avatar curl's question: I'm only for one day in the isle of Lautoka. What are the main places I should check on a fast visit? (give a different answer) .

The market in lautoka is very big and colourful, and from there, walking on the Yasawa Street, you can get to the Jame Mosque. The place is free for visits outside the prayer times. A little bit more to the east, the Sikh Temple will welcome you with its Granth, the holy book of teachings in the middle of the temple. This temple is a sample of Hinduism very much influenced by the islam.
